The western Algarve is one of Europe's great golfing destinations, and Villa Lux Luz sits right in the middle of it. Five superb courses lie within a 20-minute drive of the villa, from clifftop layouts with Atlantic views to championship courses that have hosted the professional tours.

Off the course, the villa is made for golfing groups. Everyone gets their own en-suite bedroom, there is plenty of space to relax together, and the fully equipped kitchen and outdoor dining areas make it easy to cater for the whole party, or let a private chef do the work while you talk through the day's round.

Best of all, the Algarve's golfing season peaks in the cooler months, and so does our flexibility. Between November and March we offer any-day changeovers and shorter stays, so a long-weekend golf break works just as well as a full week.

Situated about 3 km from Praia da Luz, Boavista is a par 71 course designed by Howard Swan. Opened in 2002, it features tree-lined fairways, water hazards and bunkers, with several holes offering stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean.

Espiche Golf

Located approximately 5 km from Praia da Luz, Espiche is a par 72 course that seamlessly integrates into the surrounding Algarve landscape. Opened in 2012, it offers a challenging layout with fast fairways and well-maintained greens, providing a unique golfing experience in harmony with nature.

Golf trips rarely fit a Saturday-to-Saturday mould, and between November and March they do not have to. Arrive any day, stay a long weekend or longer, and enjoy the courses at their winter best. Tell us your dates and the size of your group and we will check availability, suggest the best options for golf, and help arrange any extras from airport transfers to a private chef.
