Anyone can hand you a tourist guide. These are the places we genuinely rate: the personal favourites of the villa’s owners and our team on the ground, in Luz, Burgau, Lagos and the villages around them. Every recommendation here is somewhere we eat and drink ourselves.
Our little black book
The restaurants
After years of eating our way around Luz, Burgau and Lagos, we keep a carefully tended little black book: the tables worth booking, the kitchens at their best, and the terraces to ask for by name. We don’t publish it. Instead, tell us what you fancy, fresh fish by the water, a long lunch for the whole group, somewhere special for a birthday, and our concierge partner Mark the Concierge will match you to the right place and book the table for you.
